Submission

1. Who are eligible to take part in Montage 2010?

    All persons residing in Singapore during the duration of Montage 2010 are eligible to take part.

2. How many submissions am I allowed to submit?

    You may submit a maximum of 4 entries in total.

3. Can I take part in both Youth and Open Category? Can I submit one photograph in Youth Category and another photograph in Open Category?

    No, each person can only participate in one category.

4. How much will it cost to participate?

    Entry is free.

5. Is it compulsory to have a caption for each photograph?

    No, it is not. Captions are optional.

6. What is the word limit for the caption?

    There is a limit of 7 words for the caption of each photograph.

7. How do I submit my entry?

    You may submit your photographs online at http://montage.sg/submit. All entries are final.

8. Can I submit my first photograph now and the rest of the photographs at a later time?

    Yes, you can. However, you will need to re-enter your details for your subsequent entries.

9. What should I do if I encounter difficulties during my submission?

    Kindly e-mail us at montage2010@nusps.org.sg. We will do our best to reply you as soon as possible.


Judging

1. How are the entries judged?

    Entries will be judged based on their relevance to the theme, photographic technique, storyline, creativity, and originality.  Emphasis will be placed on relevance to the theme.

2. Am I allowed to view the judging?

    The public is invited to view the judging for both categories. The open judging for both categories will be held on 22 May 2010 at the National University of Singapore.

3. How is the winner of the School Challenge Award determined?

    Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and Junior Colleges in Singapore are automatically qualified for the award. The winner will be determined by the number of quality photographs submitted by the students studying in the respective schools.
